We are a Multi Award Winning Dancing School where classes are held in a safe, happy friendly, caring and disciplined environment and provides a solid foundation for children of all ages & abilities to enjoy an all-inclusive learning experience in dance.

We have a wide range of pupils who come to classes to find a new interest or hobby and others to train for what they hope will be their future career. Whatever the reason for attending the dancing school, the emphasis is on respecting the individual learning needs of every child and to share, inspire and enjoy the love of dance. We encourage children who need additional learning to join us and share the pleasure of dance and friendship we offer in all our classes.

ANTHEA M KING SCHOOL OF DANCING RECEIVES ROYAL BALLET SCHOOL HEROES AWARD

Anthea M King School of dancing has been awarded The Royal Ballet School’s Heroes Award in recognition of its work to promote healthy living, active movement, and creativity through its outstanding use of Primary Steps on Demand— a creative online dance programme for primary school children.

This award highlights Anthea M King School of Dancing commitment to encouraging participation in physical activity and artistic expression, offering children from all backgrounds a creative introduction to dance. Led by Anthea & Alicia who have been members of Primary Steps on Demand since 2022 participating in the programme as part of their dance curriculum

In recognition of their achievements the school has received a signed Hero award from Iain Mackay, the Artistic Director of The Royal Ballet School. This award marks Anthea M King School of Dancing as a leader in providing a high-quality cross-curricular creative education.
