 Established in 1981, Anthea M King School of Dancing has been inspiring generations of children, teenagers and adults through the joy of dance for over four decades.

We believe every dancer deserves to feel welcomed, valued and encouraged, whether they are taking their very first class, dancing simply for enjoyment or choosing to work towards performances and examinations.

Our classes provide far more than dance training. They offer a place where confidence grows, friendships flourish, creativity is celebrated and every individual is encouraged to reach their own potential in a warm and supportive environment.

Our teaching combines high-quality dance education with kindness, encouragement and a holistic approach that supports each dancer’s physical, emotional and creative development.

As teachers, we are committed to continually developing our own knowledge and skills. Since 2011, we have attended the International Dance Teachers’ Conference, working alongside leading dance educators to ensure our teaching remains current, inspiring and appropriate for every stage of a dancer’s journey.

Whether a child joins us for fun, fitness, friendship or future aspirations, every dancer is welcomed into a community where they can learn, grow and truly belong.
